Curtain Call (커튼콜: 나무는 서서 죽는다) is a South Korean television series starring Kang Ha-neul, Ha Ji-won and Go Doo-shim. It revolves around a man who plays the role of a grandson who defected to fulfill the grandmother's last wish from the North, a woman who falls in love with that man, and the people involved in the play. It is premiered on KBS2 in October 2022, and aired every Monday and Tuesday at 21:50 (KST).Yoo Jae-Heon (Kang Ha-Neul) works as an actor for a local theater troupe. Even though he comes from a poor background, he is a bright and optimistic person with high self-esteem. His motto is to do what you want. One day, an old gentleman asks Yoo Jae-Heon to play the grandson of an old woman. The old woman's grandson defected from North Korea. This changes Yoo Jae-Heon’s life.
