In 2008, a girl named Sakura reached her second year of high school. She wanted to go find Tokyo audition to become Idol, but as soon as she left home, she was hit by a van and tragically passed away.
Ten years later, in 2018, Sakura wakes up with memory loss, in a certain western-style house. There she discovers that she and 6 other girls were turned into zombies. A young man named Kotaro Tatsumi tells them that they were revived for a local idol project "Zombie Land Saga Project" that raises awareness about Saga prefecture. Sakura then goes on to form the idol group "Franchouchou" with the other 6 members: Saki Nikaido, Ai Mizuno, Junko Konno, Yugiri, Lily Hoshikawa and Tae Yamada.
